Salzburg-Ring
Just a stone's throw from Munich
We have heard different opinions about the Salzburgring in Austria. Not suitable for beginners because the track is too fast. Too boring for professionals because the track is just straights !?
We think:
It's ideal for beginners - A beginner will have plenty to do with the bends there anyway and will just be happy to have the opportunity to relax on the 2 long straights. It is an ideal opportunity to a) get used to the speed and b) test your own limits.
For professionals - a trial of courage. The track from the Nocksteinkehre up to the paddock bend is only going to be boring if you don't know that the throttle is on the right. You'll realise this when a real professional flys past you at maximum lean, so that you feel like you're standing still. Please, don't misunderstand this comment and do something stupid. As our MM would say: "If you fly off your bike in the paddock corner, you'll easily fly to Mexico!"
For all riders - at least for those living in Munich or Bavaria - this is the easiest and cheapest possibility to get on the track quickly. If necessary, you can ride there in the morning and back in the evening. Because the race track is so near-by nearly no equipment needed. The pits and the medical care is absolutely flawless. A pretty landscape, cows graze next to the track - where else is this still possible?
- Quick and easy. Just fill in the registration form and send.
