Magione

Magione is about 770 km from Munich on the border of Tuscany/Umbria but easy to reach because most of the route is motorway. In the spring you can normally expect very mild, springlike temperatures whereas in Munich we have still snow. Between Mugello/Tuscany and Magione/Umbria there is a meteorological divide, which makes a big difference to the climate. 

The twisting 2,6 km long track is an optimal track for the beginning of the season. This track is a pure riders track. The motorbike performance is not that important. Ducati's and other twins are better off. One bend after another, two short straights, changing grip means this is not boring. Paddocks, boxes and security staff as well as the medical care are flawless. Everybody who wants to start the season slowly and relaxed should come here. On top of all this you get the finest Italian flair.

You should take the opportunity to extend your holiday and spend a couple of days with your family or friends in the beautiful landscape of Lago di Trasimeno and the picturesque Old Town of Perugia. Hotels, boarding houses and campsites are easy to find.
